The Molly House Art Competition Rules

The Brief: At The Molly House, we invite artists to transform our three prominent square “blank canvas” spaces (highlighted in red boxes below), currently serving as blackboards, into designs or artworks that capture the spirit of The Molly House and the essence of the gay village.
Please note: While the concept of painting the artwork on tiles is appealing to us, we are open to alternative suggestions for artistic mediums, as long as they are waterproof. This competition is open to all.
Costs and Fees: All costs associated with necessary supplies will be covered. The chosen artist will receive a well-deserved remuneration of £200 in cash, along with a £50 voucher for The Molly House. Their name and details will be prominently displayed on the final creation, visible to a vast audience and promoted across our social media channels.
How to Enter: Entrants should submit an initial image (in a digital format) of their design, along with a brief description of the chosen medium, the costs of their supplies, and their contact information. Email your design entries to competition@themollyhouse.com
Finalists: The winner will be contacted by mid-April 2024, and work is set to commence in April 2024. Ts & Cs apply.
